Nearly all of the country’s coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who intercrop their coffee fields with shade trees and bananas. Our importer, Genuine Origin, started sustainability work in Uganda in 2007, and their Farmer Support teams are known for their innovations and continuous guidance toward improvements. They work with more than 10,000 Arabica farmers and with them creating some of the best specialty coffee Uganda has ever produced.
